Why Ukrainian bride?

There is an opinion that only "second-quality" men go abroad to look for a wife - those who couldn't find one at home for a serious reason. Of course, there are some candidates like this. Sometimes it is said that the majority of the potential fiancés are quite old. However, according to the data provided by Kiev marriage agencies, the average age of an overseas marriage candidate is 35-42 years, and the majority of them are normal people, just like everyone else. They are attracted by the notorious ability of Russian (Ukrainian, Belarus) brides to take good care of the house. Moreover, these women demand much less than their foreign counterparts when marrying a foreigner. Finally, in the West a very popular term is "sexual harassment" - so that you cannot even flirt with a pretty colleague at work.

Vladislav Ilchenko, the manager of "Russian Wife" marriage agency:
- Our agency has been working for two years already. We contact international marriage agencies and people through the Internet. Our database comprises about a thousand mail order brides from Ukraine. Among them, 40 percent are from Kiev and 60 percent are from the major cities of Ukraine . We get requests from men from the USA, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany. There are also Canadian businessmen, lecturers from the university of Tokyo. For instance, recently one of the directors of "Philip Morris" got married to a Ukrainian girl with our help. And every month we have about three or four weddings!

According to foreigners who married Slavic mail order brides, their basic advantages are their ability to keep house well, flexibility, reliability in marriage, beauty. (Doesn't this remind you of something? I feel that the majority of home candidates want much the same.) Of course, there is also something about their being exotic.

"I helped with translating letters in an Italian marriage agency for a while. And you know what, alcoholics, beggars, scoundrels and other dregs of society, rejected by the local brides, are very rare among those who contact an agency (less than one percent). Just imagine, would a poor person, who has a hard time making ends meet, spend his money on buying addresses and sending correspondence?"

The majority of male candidates from abroad are 35 and older. At this age, a man usually has a stable job, some financial security and could afford to have a family and children. What are they looking for in Slav girls? All of us have heard much about the feminism of Western women. Try inviting an American lady to eat in a restaurant and then paying for her in the end - you can be sure it was your last meal together. Or let's take the women of Italy, which have finally managed to pass a law allowing them to serve in the army along with the men.

Overseas men are just tired of this. They want to have a loving wife and a caring mother. So the Slav ladies, not yet "spoiled by feminism", are the ideal ones for them. Of course, you should not leave out the trend factor - "my neighbor has married this great Russian girl, why wouldn't this work for me?"
