Interrogation has shown, that in general, the attitude to Russian population on the part of the Italians working in Russia, it is possible to characterize as negative. The last feel themselves as the missionaries who have arrived to the barbarous country for improvement of its economic situation. However, characteristics of Russian women have in lips of foreigners in most cases extremely positive sounding. As a rule, "the Russian personnel poor, but women good fellows!" What determines such relation?
First of all, foreigners emphasize a high level of education and vocational training which Russian women have. 90% The Russian employees of the Italian campaigns have higher education, that up to depth of soul amazes their foreign bosses. Ocsana Fays gives an example, as the last year at the exhibition of production of the Italian firms which is annually taking place in the All-Russia Exhibition Centre, the chapter of one of 12 exposed firms with pride bragged of that, as against the colleagues, has higher education. Practically at all representatives of foreign firms obvious disharmony between their attitude to Russia (as to the despised, wild and barbarous country with the disorganized economy) and a cultural - educational level of the Russian personnel which appears much above their own was observed.
The second feature to which respondents of the first and second groups paid attention, is an improbable work capacity and endurance of Russian women. Thus, getting a job, women (as against men) frequently agree on unprofitable economic conditions, for example, considerably lower in comparison with the foreign personnel a level of payment at the same professional requirements and degrees of employment. Therefore as against the European tradition where at employment the preference is given men, heads of foreign firms working in Russia with the greater hunting employ women.
Besides professional advantages of the Russian women, the Italian men have noted also a number of their only human qualities. For respondents elite groups, in view of insignificance of contacts to local population (except for the employees), typically literary representation about the Russian woman, based on images of the Tolstoy, Dostayevskiy, Chekhov. However, as many Italian bosses when they started to transfer these synthesized images on alive concrete women complained, they were comprehended with bitter disappointment. In practice "lovely, touching, sacrificial creations" appeared rather vigorous, business and combative, rigidly stopping encroachments on the rights.
The most interesting characteristics to our compatriots were given by the representatives of the third group having the greatest number of contacts to Russian women. Thus an age and professional range of Muscovite women, with which they communicated (both learning technical training colleges, and students, both women - professionals, and the unemployed), were much wider, than at representatives of first two groups. Among the marked positive qualities most hearfulness, ability to listen frequently is mentioned. In opinion of all interrogated Italians, the openness to emotional contacts is the distinctive characteristic of Russian women: their western girlfriends reluctantly open access in the private world; even less they are ready to listen and accept a burden of another's problems on the shoulders.
Among negative characteristics of Muscovite women many named rigidity, cruelty, a thrift. Thus, the more youngly the woman, the are more brightly shown these fig. At the same time young (16-20 years) girls and women appear more trustful and unprotected.
Representatives of all three groups spoke about "mysteriousness" of Russian women, but thus and have failed to open essence of this definition. The minimal attempts to explain "mysteriousness" were made by the representatives of the third group who have specified on unpredictability of behaviour and sharp transitions in mood at familiar of Muscovite women. Were marked independence of Russian women, them contumaciousy to the traditional social, behavioural and sexual norms considering the status of the woman secondary in relation to the status of the man.
Representatives all three groups have noted, that those positive features which they connect to image of Russian people, undoubtedly, are introduced by women. In opinion of the Italian men, in Russia women set the fashion in professional and in social spheres and are the most active, vigorous and original part of the population.
